This bookcase was dirty, beat up and overall sad. I painted it to match existing bedding and curtains in a little girl's room.
General guidelines--please contact me with questions:
Paint for projects: The paint is included in the cost of your project. I will be happy to incorporate your existing paint into the design if possible.
Murals: The wall should be fully prepped prior to painting. That means nail holes filled, spackle sanded, and the wall painted with Kilz Primer (available at Home Depot). No time? I can completely prep the wall for you for an additional charge of $40.
I tape off adjoining walls, baseboards and ceilings at no charge.
Painted Furniture: I will purchase furniture for your project and incorporate the cost into the total for the project. The furniture I purchase is made of high quality, unfinished solid wood (poplar).Or, I will paint on your existing furniture. I can prep and paint any furniture, with a small additional charge if the piece requires stripping.
Party Props: I can paint anything from cardboard to plywood for your party props. I will provide the materials if needed. Materials are included with the cost of your project.
Rate: I typically charge on a per project basis, unless otherwise agreed. I will provide you a full accounting of hours required to do the project, including time to purchase supplies. 10% of estimated cost is required prior to beginning the project.
